I have to take a break from blogging about my new glass creations to blog about someone else’s new glass creations. Check out these glass earrings created by stained glass artist Brian Western:

Brian has taken recycling to a whole new level with these Italiana Peroni Birra Ginkgo Leaf earrings. He cut each leaf from the side of an Italian Peroni beer bottle and then expertly soldiered them together after what must have been quite a few beers. Very cool!

I created these funky dichroic glass dangle earrings by cutting glass cabochons into a rounded puzzle shape. They are made with dichroic glass that shifts from blue to green in the light and they hang from sterling silver earwires. You can view some additional photos of these earrings here.

This dichroic pendant design is for women who love larger jewelry. At 1 and 3/4 inches in diameter, this piece is fun and dramatic. It is made with green dichroic glass and hangs on a black satin cord. Check out more pictures of this new design here.

Another new pendant design! This pendant, made with silver Coatings by Sandberg dichroic glass, has a star shape cut in its center to hold a black satin cord necklace. As always, you can see more pictures of this new design on its page in my online store.

Here is another one of my new pendant designs. This square silver pendant has a hammered finish around its border. The dichroic cabochon is made with blue ‘Nautilus’ dichroic glass. The back has a spiral pattern that you can see in the additional photos here.

It has been a while since I updated this blog, but I have some exciting new jewelry designs to share! Here’s the first design. This silver-plated flower has a blue-green shift dichroic glass cabochon center. It hangs from a sterling ring, and has a fun patterned back. You can see more pictures of it here.

Last week I blogged about the bright, bold colors of summer - specifically, orange. Another great color making an appearance this summer is purple.
This cap-sleeve scoopneck top from Banana Republic is “purnel purple” and was the inspiration for my new grape cluster necklace design. Click on the picture below for additional photographs.

I am now offering a line of fused glass rings. The ring pictured here has a 10 mm cabochon made with rainbow dichroic glass. The ring setting is sterling silver.
I also made a blue spiral dichroic glass ring with a unique square cabochon and a sparkly green dichroic glass ring.

I got a gorgeous gift of art in the mail today from Michelle, a dear friend and fellow glass artist (shoozles.etsy.com). It’s a mixed media piece using dichroic glass and other materials, like paper and fabric, and it sits in a deep box frame. Michelle talks about her creative process making art for the home on the Etsy Glass Artists blog.
